Burners Without Borders (BWB) is a grassroots, volunteer-driven, community leadership organization whose goal is to unlock the creativity of local communities to solve problems and bring about meaningful change. Founded by Burning Man participants who instinctively gathered in the Hurricane Katrina disaster zone to help those who couldn't help themselves, BWB has grown into a dynamic international, volunteer organization made possible by the generous financial support of the community and an army of highly creative volunteers.

The Chicago Chapter of BWB focuses on supporting partner organizations and producing events that are focused on direct action, community collaborations, and creative expression.  Here are some of the events that we've been involved with over the years:
The Halsted Street Parade, Loyola Earth Night Celebrations, Looptopia, The Green Office Artistic Challenge, Chiditarod, Green & Clean Day, The Friends of the Chicago River, and the Chicago Community Grant Program.
