The Burning Man Project allows us to administer two mailing lists that may be of interest to you. The Chicago Announce list is a moderated announcements-only list that is fairly low traffic and usually full of important stuff, like info about ticketing and official events. The Discussion list is unmoderated and has slightly more traffic, and it is usually full of stuff like community events. We recommend checking both out!
